It's Military Appreciation Month!

15 years ago, the U.S. Congress designated May as National Military Appreciation Month. Of course, for a company like Wargaming, it's a part of our daily operation, but this yearly recognition of those who served and serve our country offers another opportunity to more greatly show our appreciation.

This year, we'd like to turn your attention to four military charities that support veterans, presently-serving troops, and the preservation of military history. Please consider donating to these organizations during this important month.

Operation Supply Drop

Operation Supply Drop (OSD) is a military gaming charity designed to build video game filled care packages for soldiers (America and Her Allies) both deployed forward to combat zones as well as those recovering in military hospitals.

AMVETS

As one of America’s vet­er­ans ser­vice orga­ni­za­tions, AMVETS (or Amer­i­can Vet­er­ans) has a proud his­tory of assist­ing vet­er­ans and spon­sor­ing numer­ous pro­grams that serve our coun­try and its cit­i­zens. The help­ing hand that AMVETS extends to vet­er­ans and their fam­i­lies takes many forms.

National Military Family Association

The National Military Family Association is the leading nonprofit organization committed to strengthening and protecting the families of the men and women currently serving, retired, wounded or fallen. We provide families of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Commissioned Corps of the USPHS and NOAA with information, work to get them the benefits they deserve, and offer programs that improve their lives.

Battleship Texas Foundation

 Established in 1998, the Battleship Texas Foundation works in partnership with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to preserve and enhance the Battleship TEXAS and to help develop the historic ship into a premier, hands-on museum and visitor attraction.
