Welcome to the Detailed Rules for Sponsor’s August Extravaganza contest, “Sweet 16 Plane Cakes!” (the “Contest”)
THE TOTAL VALUE OF THE PRIZES TO BE AWARDED IN THIS SKILL CONTEST IS BETWEEN USD $1475 AND USD $1525 (DEPENDENT UPON CURRENT PRICING, AIR FARES, AND OTHER VARIABLE COSTS).
Entries will be accepted from 00:00 PDT August 4 to 17:00 PDT August 11 (the “Entry Period”).
Prizes will be awarded between August 12 and October 1 (the “Award Period”). Specifically, Premium prizes will be awarded no later than Friday, August 22.
The “Prizes” awarded in this skill contest include: the Grand Prize winner will receive an Nvidia GTX 760 video card. 2nd to 4th place will receive Plantronics GameCom Commander headsets. 5th to 10th place will receive 7 days of Premium.
THE SPONSOR ANTICIPATES AWARDING: one (1) Nvidia GTX 760 valued at $260; four (4) Plantronics GameCom Commander headsets valued at $299; five (5) 7 days of Premium valued at $6.89. Total number of prizes: ten (10). Number of prizes may vary depending on number of entrants.
Users must bake a physical, edible cake in the shape of an existing plane in World of Warplanes. At least two pictures of the cake must be provided in the official forum thread created for the Skill Contest: a picture of the cake’s preparation, and a picture of the completed cake.
The Skill Contest will comprise of baking a cake based on a plane currently available in World of Warplanes.The potential prize winner will be notified by mail, telephone, and/or email within five (5) days after the end of the judging – i.e., no later than ten (10) days after the end of the Entry Period.
Entries submitted that do not provide both a picture of the construction of the cake as well as the finished cake will not be accepted.
Entries will be judged on creative merit and the accuracy of the cake’s design compared to the plane it is intended to resemble. Photographs of the cake must be clear and in .jpg, .png, or .gif format.
Entries will be judged on Tuesday, August 12, by members of the Wargaming America Community Team, who will evaluate the creativity and accuracy of the submissions.

Winners will be notified via the email accounts attached to their Wargaming accounts, and will be announced through official channels, including, but not limited to: the World of Warplanes Portal, the World of Warplanes forums, Facebook, and Twitter.
