Pilots!
World of Warplanes has been updated to Version 0.4.3.3 in order to prepare the game for the launch of the Open Beta next week.
In this latest round of improvements, we concentrated mostly on rebalancing the planes, optimising hardware performance, enhancing the interface and some last-minute-bug fixes to polish off the build.
With this patch in the air, we’re ready to take off to Open Beta with you next week! We hope you’re as excited as we are!

Game Balance
- Reconfigured the characteristics of the planes of tier I to V
- Reconfigured the throttle on all planes
- Reconfigured the boost on all planes
- The different aircraft classes have become more specialized
- Reconfigured the flight model of biplane fighters
Optimization
- Adjusted “Low” and “Very Low” settings for low-performance graphic cards (FPS increases with rather high-performance processors but low-performance graphic cards)
Bug Fixing
- Fixed several game crashes
- Fixed the bug in which the inflicted damage (especially with machine guns) decreased significantly
- Fixed the bug in which the engine performance was not affected by the aircraft’s altitude
- Fixed the bug of the ascension of one ground target of one of the teams on Bay map
- Fixed several sound bugs
- Fixed a bug about the bans system operation
- Fixed the performance of the Friends Request’s notification system
- Fixed the color of the moderator’s messages
Interface
- Improved the Tech Trees appearance – the different boxes have been ameliorated, the planes that can be researched are highlighted with a brighter color, the current aircraft status is written in a more vividly way in the modules’ tech tree
- Added a quick link from the purchased aircraft on the Store window to the following tabs: Service, Modules and Exterior
- Added double-click on the module boxes (in the Modules tab, Tech Tree and in the Hangar). This function allows to research/purchase/mount modules in a faster way
- Reconfigured the “Tips” tab in the loading screen. The buttons “Previous” and “Next” have been highlighted
- Renamed the “Flight battle” button to “Create a flight battle”
- Fixed the performance of the button “Reset” in Game Settings/Battle/Instrumentation. Instrumentation settings are now switched to the default state when the “Reset” button is pressed
- System notifications (invitations, confirmations, disband aircraft flights, etc.) are now displayed in the Notifications history
- Improved the radar markers’ display in battle
- Significantly reduced the delays when switching between the windows in the hangar
Sound
- Added music for the map “Plateau”
- Added the localization of the voice messages
Maps
- Improved the system of aircraft emergence at the beginning of the battles (spawn points)
- Changed the number of AA guns in both teams on the map Lighthouse
Camera
- Changed the horizontal position of the aircraft related to the camera for all types of controls
Chat
- Added the option which allows adding the nickname of a player in the message input field, by pressing LBM on the nickname of that player
- System channels, which are minimized when you go into battle, won’t be automatically displayed
