Pilots!
You may have seen DrSinister across our forums being the all-knowing and super helpful community member he is. We love this about him, so we thought we'd take some time to share a few more details about one of our shining pilots.
I guess you can say I have been a PC gamer since I was six or seven years old; gaming on an old x286 back then.
Paintball, hunting, and playing PC games.
Western New York
No aviation experience, but I did pilot a sailplane when I was 10 years old for about five minutes. I was really into jet fighters when I was in elementary school because my father was in the United States Air Force. I served in the Army Active Duty from 1998-2002 and National Guard from 2002-2006.
I have been testing and playing since June 1st, 2012 when I got accepted into Closed Beta.

I actually like all of the planes for various reasons, but if I had to pick one I would pick the A6M5. It might have weak armor, but the firepower is decent for the maneuverability of that plane.
The community. So many of them are helpful and understanding of new pilots.
That and it's an easy game to get into, but hard to master. It does take some time to get to know the planes and learn the ins and outs of each plane to fully utilize each one to its fullest potential.
As a true example of the helpfulness, DrSinister posted this awesome guide on how to set up your joystick using the new axis graphs in-game! This is simply an awesome thread!
Do not get discourage right away and do not expect to be an ace right away. Use the Training Room to your advantage, set up matches with bots ranging from a tier III spread; put yourself as the bottom tier, middle tier, and top tier to understand how to use your plane. The A.I. may not be all that smart, but it still helps.
Bay is my favorite map because there are a lot of things you can do on that map. You can fly in the northern part around the mountains, especially if the AA is on your side. You can use the bridge to help shake pursuers off your tail and the size of the map feels about right for the tier that it's designed for.
