Pilots!
You may have seen him on the forums, which is hard to do when you consider his staggering post count! What really impressed us though, is his interesting guide that's cleverly disguised as a Skywhale article. So without further ado, let's introduce you to Heh so we can all get to know him a little bit better.
Wargaming: How long have you been a gamer?
Heh: I have been gaming since I was a wee child, like three or so. Makes for more than 15 years.
Wargaming: What are some of your hobbies/ activities?
Heh: In my free time you'll find me playing video games, studying a little physics, drawing a wee bit, rock climbing, going places in abnormal ways, browsing forums, studying aeromarine biology, and reading up some argumentation techniques sometimes and perhaps more.
Wargaming: Where are you from?
Heh: I'm from the United States, but with a crappy connection.
Wargaming: Do you have any military/ aviation experience?
Heh: I've had none, sadly. I'm just a pure gamer that likes planes.
Wargaming: How long have you been playing WoWP?
Heh: Played WoWP for as long as a year or so, probably less, but seriously more than seven months. I quit a good while ago, but I won't forget the alpha testers and certain beta testers and the good times I've shared with them (you know who you are guys ;3).
Wargaming: What are some recent accomplishments you had in-game?
Heh: First mainstream anti-air bomber, first aeromarine biologist, revealing to the world that all planes are biological animals, taming Moby, one of the first aggressive sky whale riders, basically liked by a lot of testers, decent teammate, surviving an entire team on my tail on my first 109C battle (was at less than 20 battles back then), beating five out of six people tailing me in my La-5. Most are quite outdated, but that's what I can come up with.
Wargaming: What are your favorite planes?
Heh: In-game, my favorite planes are the Bf 109C, the La-5, the IL-20 (also known as Moby by everyone), the Ar 68, the Me 109 TL, the Me 410, and many more. At some point, my signature plane was the HG III, and I felt invincible in mine.
If we're talking about all the planes I like, then it would be a list, but for modern planes, I like anything Sukhoi makes.
Wargaming: What are your favorite aspects of the game?
Heh: I like how simple the game is. It's really adequate for keyboard players. The fact that you see many shiny planes is also nice, and the enjoyment of using energy tactics is great. May not sound like much, but I loved it overall.
Wargaming: Do you have any advice for new players?
Heh: Trusting advice from movies like Top Gun and Red Tails is like giving your dog chocolate. As sweet as they seem applied in the movies, they will get your face punched by every single player. So, do not be one of those guys. Please don't, it's going to ruin you.
Also, do not let the enemy spot you. Air combat is a stealth game.
Wargaming: What’s your favorite map/ Why?
Heh: I like Lighthouse because it's such a huge map, so high tiers aren't confined that much. Have yet to test out Bay.
Wargaming: Thanks so much, Heh, for your contributions to the WoWP community. This place simply would not be the same without you! We are proud to introduce you as one of our finest Community Aces.
