Pilots,
Over the Easter holiday, one of our cargo planes was carrying a shipment of multicolored, decorative eggs, each worth a sizeable amount of Gold, and some containing bonus prizes inside! However, the cargo plane’s hatch was damaged flying over a battlezone, spilling the eggs out across the World of Warplanes Portal, forums, and social media! Find the eggs and win rewards in the World of Warplanes Easter Egg Hunt!
From Tuesday, April 22 at 10:00 PDT to Friday, April 25 at 17:00 PDT, pictures of colorful Easter eggs will be scattered around the World of Warplanes Portal, in forum threads, and on our social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter. Colored eggs are each worth 1,000 while a rare silver egg is worth 10,000 and our eagle-eyed players who spot the extremely limited gold eggs will win Saitek Pacific AV8R FlightSticks.
You won’t need a basket to collect these eggs; just post the filename of the egg and its location to the Easter Egg Hunt forum thread. For example, the egg in this article below is labeled “Foghorn.png”:
An example forum thread post would be: “Found Foghorn.png in the Easter Egg Hunt article.”
Each egg is individually named and can only be claimed once. The first player to post the egg’s filename and location gets the reward for that egg. One person can claim multiple colored eggs, however each person may only claim one silver or gold egg (But not both!).
Good luck, pilots, and keep your eyes peeled!
