Pilots!
We recently upgraded the portal, and with it pushed a new feature to the Encyclopedia. With the Encyclopedia, you can evaluate several parameters when researching which plane to fly next, and the new compare feature assists you further in this kind of information gathering.
Let's say you have a Hawk 75M in your hangar. After playing a few battles with this plane, you're ready to move up to tier IV. What's next? Should you continue follow the American fighter branch and research the P-36? Or should you start going for another nation, such as Germany or Japan? Let's compare our P-36 with the Bf.109 B and the A6M1. The updated Encyclopedia can help you easily see the difference between these planes in the game.
1. To start with, let's find the P-36, Bf.109 B and A6M1 in the Encyclopedia. Tick the Compare checkbox to add it to the comparison table.
Of course, you can add as many planes as you want to the compare tool. For example, you could also add the British Bristol 146 and Soviet I-17 to the current compare list. This could be done later, so for now let's focus on the difficult choice between German, Japanese and American planes.
2. At the left side of the screen, you can see a pop-up window with the list of planes to compare. Now you need to click Move so that you can see the summary table of each plane's characteristics.
3. In this table, you can see the characteristics of the stock plane configurations: speed, firepower, maneuvrability, and so on. The best values are highlighted. You can also compare planes with improved configurations – just click Basic Configuration, choose the modules and then click Apply Changes.
Have fun comparing planes and finding out which is best for you!
