Fleet Week 2012 Wrap Up

Pilots!

Wargaming was out watching the airshow with our brand new toy this last weekend over at the Marina Park in San Francisco.  The turn out for the event was spectacular.  A throng of people spread out over the entirety of the grounds, all with their necks craned and eyes shaded.

We passed out some swag, including t-shirts, wargaming sun glasses, limited edition World of Warplanes aviator sun glasses, mousepads, and calendars.  We had our custom Humvee set up for players to enjoy a few matches of World of Warplanes and World of Tanks. 

We even had the F-22 Raptor Demo team come over before and after their performance to get in on the action!  Before you ask, yes, they flew the jets, and yes, the smoked all enemies that they came up against.

There were many many many very fine cameras out there--you can probably find some pretty slick images floating around out there--but we made do with a few smartphones.  Check out a few photos of the event:

 After a long day scoping out the skies and a healthy amount of packing up, the Wargaming team poses for a shot before they head home.
