"Japanese Threat" Event

"Japanese Threat" is a three-week-long special where you pick a side and fight for victory. Will you join Japanese and German warbirds trying to attack islands in the Pacific Ocean, or will you side with the American, British, Chinese, French, or Soviets to repel the attack? 

Who Wins? You Decide!

This mode arrives alongside Update 1.9.6

The only prerequisite is to have at least one aircraft tier IV or higher in the nation you want to join.

Fast Facts

• For this event, you’ll see a special pop-up window in the client where you'll be able to choose your side.

• You can pick a new side each day, two hours before the start of a battle. If you don't pick a side, you'll automatically be added based on the matchmaker. If you picked a side but want to change it, it costs six tokens to do so before the battle begins, when it will then be disabled.

• While the “Missions” tab has a set of daily missions, all information on Japanese Threat will be in a special area in the center of the screen under the main menu.

Confrontations

Confrontations are special missions available at select times. A confrontation lasts as long as it takes for a side to fulfill all victory conditions.

Win Prizes

After a confrontation, players receive crates filled with goodies. The main prize is early access to the new, upcoming Japanese branch -- you can get aircraft from the new Japanese branch by completing missions.

Additional Prizes

Players who actively help their faction can earn trophies. If you're on the winning side, you'll get twice the number of trophies. They contain valuable and rare prizes like Premium days, Gold, experienced Pilots, and more!
