King of the Hill Tournament

It's important to have a team on your side in World of Warplanes, but sometimes you just want to take on one unlucky player in a dogfight to the end. That's why we're getting ready to run a King of the Hill tournament! If you can climb to the top of the "hill" and stay there, you can win a nice chunk of Gold!

Tournament in Brief

In this tournament, a single player is pitted against one other player, only in fighter planes up to tier IV, on the Harbor map. Winners of each round are determined as the first to 2 victories in a maximum of 3 battles. Both players are required to submit screenshots of their end-of-battle screens.

Rounds begin on Thursday, December 19 and run through December 20. Prizes will be the following amounts of in-game Gold:

• 1st Place: 1,000
  • Winner-takes-all each week, and remains king/queen of the hill to defend their spot in one final match after the next King of the Hill round
