It's important to have a team on your side in World of Warplanes, but sometimes you just want to take on one "lucky" player in a dogfight to the end. That's why we have the King of the Hill tournaments! If you can climb to the top of the "hill" and stay there, you can win a nice chunk of Gold!

Tournament in Brief

In this tournament, a single player is pitted against one other player, in fighter, heavy fighter, or attack aircraft planes up to tier V, on the El Halluf map. Winners of each round are determined as the first to 2 victories in a maximum of 3 battles. Supremacy wins will not be counted -- you must destroy your opponents!  Both players are required to submit screenshots of their end-of-battle screens.

Rounds begin on Thursday, January 23 and run through January 26. Prizes will be the following amounts of in-game Gold:

• 1st Place: 1,000
  • Winner-takes-all each week, and remains king/queen of the hill to defend their spot in one final match after the next King of the Hill round
