Materials are a new type of in-game asset that was introduced in Update 2.0.5. Materials come in several types that can be used depending on the type of equipment and historic period.

Materials can be earned by destroying different types of aerial and ground targets in victorious battles. After your team wins a battle, a special Salvage Party will examine the wrecks of enemy planes on the battlefield and collect everything valuable. In the future, the game will offer other opportunities to obtain Materials.
Materials are required to enhance and calibrate different types of equipment.
