Update 2.0.9 brings a unique opportunity to get the Curtiss-Wright XP-55 Ascender and de Havilland Vampire F.1 by completing a chain of missions.
The de Havilland Vampire F.1 is a high-speed and very maneuverable British Tier VIII jet fighter for dogfighting that performs most effectively at mid altitude. Its armament allows for effectively fighting against any enemy aircraft at close- and mid-range. This combination makes the Vampire F.1 a universal aircraft capable of utilizing successful tactics against any opponent, using either its speed or maneuverability advantages (it’s up to the pilot).
The Curtiss-Wright XP-55 Ascender is a highly maneuverable and dynamic American fighter with accurate machine guns. It is the perfect choice for mid-altitude high-speed combat. Its four large-caliber machine guns are capable of delivering sustained fire without overheating. The XP-55 Ascender shows excellent performance in intense battles and can fight on par with its opponents.
How to Catch a Rare Bird
Log into the game and select your desired plane, then complete the missions whenever you want—there is no time limit. Once your choice is made, leap into action to get your well-deserved reward. Mission progress is displayed in the Personal Missions section where you can always keep track of your current stage.
The icing on the cake is the unique achievements awarded for completing all missions in a chain.
If you feel like testing your skills in completing missions for the other aircraft at any point, don’t worry — the progress of already completed missions will be saved and you won't have to start from scratch. You can switch between the chains of missions. However, you will not be able to fulfill missions for both aircraft at the same time: only one chain of mission can be active at a time.
Facing a Difficult Mission?
You can skip any mission in a chain using tokens! To get tokens, complete daily missions and earn Epic Achievements, Tiered Decorations, and Service Awards.
Tokens are awarded for:
- Accomplishing three parts of each daily mission. The number of tokens depends on the difficulty of a daily mission.
- You get one token for each Epic Achievement or Tiered Decoration, or one of the following Service Awards: Ace, Winged Legend, Thunder, or Hero of the Sky. Tokens are only awarded for the first time you get an achievement each day.
In addition, you can purchase tokens using gold during the last week of each month at a rate of 1 token = 50 gold.
