Pilots!
This weekend, we celebrate the Feast of Saint Patrick with discounts on tier IV and V Premium planes and exciting missions for bombing ground targets and taking out other aircraft (despite there being no records of Irish pilots engaging hostile planes during World War II).
While being neutral thoughout World War II, the Irish Air Corps managed to acquire many foreign aircraft, such as the Lockheed Hudson, a Fairey Battle, and Hawker Hurricanes that force-landed in the country. These craft were added to a stockpile of several biplanes and other craft that had been purchased from the United Kingdom.
By the end of the war, Ireland had s fleet of planes wearing their colors, so this weekend, don’t forge to fly that orange and green camo!
