In this Stabilized Approach we’re climbing the American multirole fighter line to the F4U-4! The instantly recognizable Chance Vought F4U Corsair was designed as a carrier-based aircraft, yet saw more success from land by the U.S. Marines until later in the war. With over 12,000 produced in its 11-year production run, the Corsair remains a memorable and iconic aircraft to this day.

In-game, the Corsair incorporates high firepower, excellent performance in mid and high altitude combat, and a powerful boost allowing you to choose when and where to fight before zooming off for another pass! If you want to climb the tech tree even further, aircraft from tier VIII to the tier X F7U are also discounted.
