In this Stabilized Approach, we’re diving for the attack with the Soviet IL-8 attack aircraft! The intimidating and heavily-armed IL-series was covered with steel armor and boasted a heavy armament, which led to the original IL-2 being nicknamed the "Flying Tank" by the Soviet troops. 

In-game, the IL-series is perfect for destroying enemy ground targets! While enemy aircraft shouldn't be your primary targets, if an enemy makes a mistake and gets in front of your guns, bring them down with overwhelming firepower! If you want to climb the tech tree even further, aircraft from tier VIII to the tier X IL-40P are also discounted.
