Turn and burn your way along a line of agile Soviet dogfighters armed with deadly cannons.  Best flown at low-to-medium altitude, Yak fighters were among the most highly-produced aircraft during World War II, and the Yak-3 is ready to dance rings around its opponents while riddling them with cannon fire. If you want to climb the tech tree even further, aircraft from tier VIII to the tier X Yak-30 are also discounted.

For an added incentive, the Yak-3 and its lower-tier brothers on the tech tree are eligible for a special mission, potentially rewarding you with a high-flying 25% XP multiplier boost!
